The TX module operate as doubler, so the 11.8GHz signal from the PLL (LMX2325) (already modulated with the data) is sent to doubler where this frequency is doubled and amplified for 22-23GHz range. The system is protected by using the duplexer. Shift from the RX and TX is aalmost 2GHz a bit lower, I did measure it but I did not record it. So the receiver is using another, different LMX2325 oscillator and the IF conversion. The isolation from the RX and TX is very high due to multi pole duplexer so no switching nor circulator is required.
The same TX unit can also work as tripler so the 38GHz signal can be obtained for the 76GHz operation just the bias voltages should be changed a bit.

The first mmic operate probably in saturated mode to create strong harmonic and I think the input is also a kind of filter. I do not think that 1st mmic can do any job on 24 GHz. You can bypass 1st mmic and drive the output mmic directly. You can play with the bias voltage to get the best gain.
